IMEN Gathering - Happy Hour Parties

HAPPY HOUR PARTIES
Daily costume themes.  IMEN tries to make the annual gathering as festive and fun as possible!  The only way this can happen is for everyone to participate!  We try to have themes for the daily Happy Hour Socials which will spark your most outlandish ideas for your party "clothes" (OR NOT)!

BEVERAGES
IMEN furnishes unlimited beer, water, sodas, juices, coffee, and hot/cold tea 24 hours a day throughout the entire gathering. In addition to this, there is wine and cocktails available during the Happy Hours!

HORS D'OEUVRES

The Judges will take a good look at every costumed person in the contest.

The Judges will note the differences between a store-bought costume and a homemade costume.  A homemade costume takes a lot more creativity, time and effort than something picked up at a store.

The Judges will look for authenticity when viewing costumes:  Example - If someone made a costume of the Joker from “The Dark Knight,” they will check to see how accurate the costume really is.  Did he include the gloves, proper makeup and hairstyle?  These are all important things to be considered.

The Judges will consider originality:  Are there other costumes like it?  Is it anything we’ve all seen before?  The Judges will note their first impressions of the costume and what has really wowed them.

The Judges will discuss their opinions, each offering his insight to help decide who the true contest
winner is.  In the event the judges cannot reach a unanimous decision, the prize will be divided amongst those deemed to be the winners.
